Extinct Disney Parks Tribute
The entrance station area of It's A Small World at the Magic Kingdom has changed a lot over the years, including a relatively recent change to a new design.
For the recent past, It's A Small World in the Magic Kingdom has had a recreation of the It's A Small World facade from Disneyland as its station. It largely recreates the original, just inside and on a smaller scale, featuring the gold and white color scheme from the original attraction.
But this was not the original design of the station for the Walt Disney World version of It's A Small World.
Originally this merely featured a two-dimensional design inspired by the original facade, in multicolors not white and gold. This version of the ride also did not originally have a clock tower, with the area that is currently a clock tower merely being an empty additional section of the pool.
The white and gold station existed following a 2005 refurbishment which included the addition of a small clock tower with a similar but lesser version of the Disneyland clock tower show.
However recently this design has gone through something of a redesign, featuring a new color scheme that has been added to the station area of the ride. It still features the same facades, but now with a multicolor design.
This is a small change, but a notable one that will change the ride forever.
