The Disney Skyliner at Walt Disney World is now entering its second week of an unplanned closure following an incident involving the collision of some of the gondolas that occurred last Saturday night and stranded people on the system for over three hours.
The exact cause of the incident was not made public and the system has been testing periodically throughout the week without guests.
It is unknown when the system will reopen, and if there will be any operational changes to the system following its eventual reopening as a result of the incident. Disney has not given any indication for how long this closure will last.
