Long Term Plans Weekly Rumor Update

We got some updates on preexisting projects this week, as well as some hints at announcements we may see in the future.

Ding Dang Big Bang

Apparently Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will start with a big bang themed backward launch. This will also likely involve a Univers or Energy tribute, as the long-running Ellen version of the ride began with a big bang scene.

Mexico Dreamfinder?

We now have some slight confirmation that there are still Epcot announcements to come. Future announcements will be added to the Epcot Experience Center per reports. Given that the model at the center of the pavilion is unlikely to change, this gives validity to rumors about Imagination and the Mexico pavilion are next in line for updates, as they are both in the model and currently don't have any projects announced for them.

Test Track is also on this model, so maybe something will be added to that pavilion? It is really the only one without any updates announced for it in what is currently Future World, so I wouldn't be surprised to see something added.

Six Flags Cedar Fair Merger

This is the weirdest thing. I really don't know if this is going to happen or not, and it appears to be changing on nearly an hourly basis. Essential the rumor is that Six Flags is making a play for buying Cedar Fair. Who knows if Six Flags has enough money to do this, or if Cedar Fair would even be interested, but we will keep you up to date on any information in this rumor.
