Disney characters are an essential part of the park experience, and Disney puts a lot of work into making sure that their characters look the same on each visit you take to their parks. But every so often Disney updates the look of some of their characters, and that is the subject of this weeks Disney Photo of the Week.
Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather are the fairies from Sleeping Beauty and originally premiered with a somewhat plastic look. They didn't really appear for meet and greets, but were regular characters in various parades over the years.
This look was retired when Festival of Fantasy premiered at the Magic Kingdom, with the faries looking a lot more alive in it, and I doubt we will ever see this version of these classic characters again in any Disney Park.
