Happiest 40th anniversary to the wildest ride in the wilderness, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
This coaster, one of the four mountains of the Disneyland mountain range, has been taking guests into the mines of the old west for 40 years.
This ride reimagined the classic Disneyland train ride through Frontierland from the slow Mine Train Through Natures Wonderland, into the twisting roller coaster that we know and love today.
It has since become a part of every Frontierland in the world and received some explosive updates to the finale.
