Earlier this week these leaked online, but now we have our first official look at the roller coaster ride vehicles for Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind, the roller coaster replacing the Universe of Energy Pavilion in Epcot.
We got a look at their spinning feature which allows them 360 degrees of motion while still moving along the coaster track.
Disney is calling this ride system an OmniCoaster, as just like an Omnimover (Haunted Mansion, Journey of the Little Mermaid), it allows them to control what you see along the ride path, making for a more immersive experience.
This 'storytelling' coaster is still a few years away but we're already excited about it and all the cutting edge technology that will make this one of the most immersive coasters in this half of the galaxy. It will be one of the first attractions to debut in the newly renamed World Discovery section of the park, replacing part of current Future World.
