Milton's is a restaurant and ice cream parlor located at the entrance/ exit of Hersheypark amusement park and it offers a great place to eat at the park on your way in or out, especially if you do not want to wait for the much more popular Chocolatier restaurant upstairs.
One of the best options at this spot for food is the Signature Grilled Cheese, one of the multiple sandwich options that are offered at this quick-service location.
This grilled cheese is quite large for a theme park meal and is a good option if you are looking for a larger meal at the end of a day at the theme park.
Served with two thick pieces of bread, this is a filling meal, although the bread portion of the meal is largely flavorless.
However, the cheese more than makes up for the bread, being served at the perfect consistency to melt in your mouth without it becoming unmanageable to eat. The proportion of cheese to bread is also properly managed so it overpowers largely flavorless bread. Featuring multiple types of cheese creates a strong flavor pallet that elevates this above typical theme park grilled cheese into something you could expect to find at a restaurant outside of an amusement park.
It is also possible to add various meats to your grilled cheese if you choose.
The Signature Grilled Cheese at Milton's Ice Cream Parlor is a great option for your next Hersheypark trip if you are looking for a quality meal at one of the park's quick-service locations. And due to its location just outside the park, you do not even have to buy a ticket to the actual park in order to enjoy this treat.
