All theme parks change a bit in development but most remain roughly similar to their original concept. That has not been the case with Universal Beijing.
The initial concept art for this park looks almost nothing like what the park is shaping up to look like while it is now under construction. In fact, almost no lands appear in both versions of the concept art.
The first featured lands like Jurassic Park, Shrek, and Diagon Alley that did not make it into the final version of the park, alongside Transformers and Hogsmeade that did make it into the final version of the park.
The final version also added many unique features like an inside land, Jurassic World, and Despicable Me.
