Disney animal sidekicks are often some of the most fun characters, and they often become regulars o the Disney Parks, especially in the early years after a film is released, but few end up becoming popular characters for as long as Meeko was.

Meeko is the raccoon friend of Pocahontas who is the most common character from the film to find in the Disney Parks with the exception of the titular character.

Meeko was a regular part of many different character greetings, especially at Disney's Hollywood Studios, where he was a regular part of the meet and greets happening inside the Animation building while it was still open.

In addition, Meeko was often a part of different segments of Walt Disney World parades, often appearing alongside other animals or lesser appreciated Disney characters.

Today Meeko makes only rare appearances in the Disney Parks, usually at special events or unannounced pop-up meet and greets. The places he used to meet largely do not exist anymore and Pocahontas has become a far less prominent film in the Disney Parks than it used to be.
