Legoland New York
Legoland New York is a children's amusement park, and as such the entire park is catered to kids. This also means that many of the restaurants serve exclusively children's comfort foods. One of these kids-friendly meals is the chicken and fries basket served at Brickbeard's Food Market.
This restaurant is found in the Pirate section of the park, and it includes both indoor and outdoor seating, all filled with LEGO Pirate theming.
The chicken and fries basket is one of the meal items at Brickbeard's and it is one of the best quality items on the menu.
The chicken is served at the perfect level of moisture, and it is moderately flavorful. There is just enough taste so as to be enjoyable but not too flavorful in that it would isolate picky children visiting the park, making it a great safe choice.
The fries meanwhile are much more enjoyable, including more seasoning than the chicken, but still likely not enough so as to make it so it cannot be enjoyed by most picky eaters.
The one major problem with this dish is the portion size, which is quite small if you are not a child. This is a larger problem throughout Legoland New York, in that even adult meals have smaller portions, and it is just something to be aware of.
Legoland New York may focus on child-friendly food, but typically they have incredibly high-quality versions of whatever comfort foods that they offer.
