Flight of the Hippogriff
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is one of the most immersive theme park lands anywhere in the world. It features the shops from the book, interactive wands and a journey through Hogwarts Castle. It even gives you the chance to relive a classic class from the iconic school in Flight of the Hippogriff.
This ride is based on the Hippogriff flying class Hagrid taught in Prisoner of Azkaban to his Care of Magical Creatures class. In it, you are invited to ride on the back of a Hippogriff on a kiddie coaster near Hagrid's house.
The coaster is slightly different here than in previous versions of the same ride but the basic idea is the same.
The ride features an animatronic Buckbeak which bows to you just like in the series. At the top, you get great views of the park and the surrounding area. This is one of only two coasters at the park and is the only outdoor coaster so if you are riding this for views this is the one for you.
It is a great kids coaster that recreates a classic moment from the series surrounded by a near exact recreation of its setting.
