Fantasyland Guide Magic Kingdom

Fantasyland Guide

Fantasyland is the classic Disneyland. It is the home to most classic Disney movies and transports you to a world of magic.

The Disney World version of this land has gone through some major changes in the past few years, and it may not be the same land you remember.

Rides

This ride is one of the few in every castle park around the world, and it remains one of the most popular attractions. Wait times can be up to two hours for this slow loading ride.

It's a Small World

This ride features a classic world peace message and whimsical depictions of areas around the world. Combined with a Sherman Brothers song and a history with the 1964 World's Fair, this is a must do ride.

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

This was the headline attraction of the most recent Fantasyland update. It is a modern take on a ride based on the first Disney film. It features thrills and an incredibly detailed dark ride portion in the dwarfs mine.

Journey of The Little Mermaid

This is a long dark ride based on the Little Mermaid. It features some truly impressive animatronics like Ursula along the way, with an unfortunately short ending.

Mickey's Philharmagic

This show brings a ton of classic and modern Disney films together through the story of Donald trying to recover Mickey's hat.

Dumbo The Flying Elephant

This ride was moved during New Fantasyland and lost many of its classic views, but is still the same spinner from opening day.

Carousel

This is a carousel. It plays Disney music.

Barnstormer

This rollercoaster is a holdover from the old Toontown. It features Goofy trying to fly a plane and is a great kiddie coaster.

Restaurants

Pinocchio's Village Haus

Pinocchio Village Hause Disney World

This is a kid-friendly restaurant with great views of It's a Small World. There is also an underused second-floor outdoor seating area with views of Fantasyland.
