Fireworks Around Cinderella Castle From the Peoplemover Walt Disney World

There are many great places to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks, far more than just in front of Cinderella Castle. One underappreciated spot to watch the nighttime spectacular from is onboard the Peoplemover in Tomorrowland.

The Peoplemover is a ride which travels indoors and outdoors throughout Tomorrowland, including two sections right next to the main hub of the Magic Kigndom and Cinderella Castle. This can be a fun way to see the fireworks from a different angle.

While you cannot see the fireworks during your entire ride, the moments where you can see the fireworks offer some increible views.

Spotlights Above Tomorrowland Magic Kingdom Walt Disney World

On top of two times passing by the castle, you get to see the fireworks above the various pathways and buildings of Tomorrowland, exploding above them, alongside the spotlights that are utilized in the fireworks spectacular.

The pathway too and from Space Mountain also offers some great views of one of the main fireworks launch locations, allowing you to view them from above alongside attractions like Tron Lightcycle Run, Tomorrowland Speedway, and the Mad Tea Party.

There are really two major drawbacks to riding the Peoplemover during the fireworks.

One is that you do not get to really hear the music, as the score is not played in much of the area traveled by the Peoplemover, so you are left without being able to get the full auditory experience of a Disney fireworks show.

The other major drawback is the inside portions of the ride, which cause you to miss large parts of the show. The ride features three major indoor portions, the longest of which being the Space Mountain portion, with no view of the fireworks.
