Disney Parks Character Tribute
Edna Mode became a breakout fan favorite character when the first Incredibles film premiered in theatres, but despite this she was not one of the characters from the film to meet in the parks. It was only alongside the release of Incredibles II that Edna Mode became a regular feature of the Disney Parks as a character.
Once she appeared for the first time in the aftermath of the Incredibles II release, she was given a permanent place in both domestic Disney Resorts.
In the Disneyland Resort, Edna Mode became a regular part of Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure, becoming a meet and greet character in the Incredibles area of the land, rotating with the other Incredibles characters.
She quickly became a popular character, alongside the more longstanding Mr and Mrs Incredible and Frozone.
In Walt Disney World, a custom meet and greet would open for Edna Mode, although it would not reopen following the shutdown.
Edna Mode instead has been a part of a Cavalcade at Disney's Hollywood Studios, being given her own car escort, specially themed to her.
As a fan favorite character, Edna Mode has become a popular part of the Disney Parks, and hopefully she will be a regular part of the parks for many years to come.
