The Enchanted Tiki Room is a classic Disney attraction. The Disneyland version was the first attraction ever to feature audio-animatronics.

The Disney World attraction has a history of its own.

First of all, it has a full preshow different than any other version in the world.

Beyond that, it started with one major difference than the Disneyland version. It had its own original character, the Orange Bird. This was a part of the attraction for much of its history until it became a part of a political scandal, but that's a different story.

It currently holds a shortened version of the original show, but for years it featured a different show. The Enchanted Tiki Room Under New Management was Disney's attempt at modernizing the show. They did this by adding Iago from Aladdin and Zazu from The Lion King as the new owners of the Tiki Room. This show basically made fun of the original show along with other Disney rides like the Hall of Presidents.

This version was almost universal hated among Disney fans. Then in one of the best mistakes of Disney history, a fire destroyed just the new animatronics, leading the show to be converted back to the original version.

Thrill Rating 1/10

This is about the calmest attraction you can imagine, with the entire point being to serenade you with tropical music for a roughly ten-minute show. There is some simulated thunder, but it is short.
