Following the Coronavirus Shanghai Disneyland is Partially Reopening

Shanghai Disneyland just announced that it is beginning the process of reopening the resort following closing earlier this year due to the Coronavirus or COVID19 outbreak.

Starting March 9th, the resort will be reopening public areas outside of the park including Disneytown and some hotels, but not the actual Shanghai Disneyland itself, with strict health screening and a mask requirement for everyone visiting the resort during its first stage of reopening.

No details were given on when the park itself may reopen.

This is a good first step on the road to returning to normal, and we will keep you posted as the situation develops as well as informing you of possible reopening dates for Hong Kong Disneyland and if anything changes with the temporary closure of Tokyo Disneyland.
