Tomorrowland Updates

As we already know, Tomorrowland is going through a refresh in anticipation of the Tron roller coaster being added behind Space Mountain. It now appears however that this refresh may continue after Tron and the 50th anniversary of the Magic Kingdom, with updates including a possible Wreck-It Ralph, retheme of Stitch's Great Escape, combined with updates to existing rides the Peoplemover, Carousel of Progress, and maybe even Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin.

Spaceship Earth Update

Rumors have been circulating for a while that a fairly extensive, possibly multi-year refurb is coming to Epcot's flagship attraction Spaceship Earth. This would include many more changes than previous narrator updates, possibly with everything from the industrial revolution onward being completely replaced. We also have a rough idea of when this refurb is going to begin, likely in late January to early February 2020. Look for an official date being announced likely at D23 this year.

Leave a Legacy Removal

Although announced a few months ago the actual removal of the Leave a Legacy stones began this week. They will be relocated elsewhere just outside the park as Disney is contractually required to continue showcasing them for a specific amount of time.
